However,Nat wanted to follow in his uncle's footsteps and explore space. His parents were somewhat disappointed,but supported his decision. After attending Starfleet Academy,Nat was assigned to the NX-06 Meridian as a crewman.Two months later he was promoted to Petty Officer Third Class and given a general letter of commendation.Shortly afterward he was transferred to the Challenger and made a gunnery mate aboard that ship. Upon that transfer he also received a promotion to Petty Officer Second Class.Four months later he was promoted to Ensign for bravery and made the CAO of Challenger.In December 2155,he was transferred to the Intrepid and made that ships CAO.
